Who is this course for?

The Molecular & Cell Biology course is relevant for anyone interested in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and the basic principles of bioinformatics. It is mainly intended for technicians or researchers (in life sciences, chemistry or related fields) interested in acquiring, deepening or refreshing their knowledge in the life sciences. The course is also a perfect foundation for HAN's Master in Molecular Life Sciences, but can also be followed independently.

Prior education

  • Do you have an MBO diploma (vocational education)? Then you need to have done MLO (laboratory training).
  • Do you have a bachelor/master degree? Then prior basic knowledge in life sciences, chemistry or other related field is desirable.

English fluency

The online Molecular & Cell Biology course is taught in English. Therefore you need to be able to read and speak the English language. 

It is your own responsibility to decide whether your English level is sufficient for taking the course.

No student visa for this course

Are you from outside the EU? HAN does not arrange student visas for students of this course. You need to arrange your own visa/permit if you wish to stay in the Netherlands

Please note: This course is an online course. So there are no physical classes in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
