Sustainable Energy: quick facts
What do you learn?
You learn to model and validate systems with multiple inputs and outputs. How? Using both white-box modelling and system identification. In this track, the focus is on sustainable energy systems. So you learn all about sustainable technology and energy system integration (ESI). You also get to choose part of your program: focus either on hydrogen technology or power supply.
What can you do with this master of science?
With this master degree, you’re an authority on sustainable energy systems. Your role in the energy transition is crucial. You develop the technology, models and smart control for sustainable systems. Systems that generate, store or distribute energy at local, regional or international level. Where you could work? At an SME, grid operator, energy provider or a government department.
Online Open Day
The Open Day on 16 November is online, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Talk to students and lecturers from Sustainable Energy. Sit in on one of the many talk shows and get the ins and outs on admission, housing, visas and scholarships. And ask all your questions. All from the comfort of your own home!

Want to study in part-time? Follow the modules at your own pace? You can if you are from the EU/EEA or have a valid residence permit for the Netherlands. You also need to be working in the field. The part-time program takes 3 years to complete.
