Learn to work with and for other

You get hands-on experience in providing supervision. And in taking direction from others. Both in an artistic and creative way.

And so much more. You learn to show your worth within the organization. To use your new-found understanding of Artistic and Playful Media. To work with your strengths. And grow where you need to grow.

School of Social Studies

As a professional, you have to deal with complex social issues. About healthcare, quality of life, social quality and loneliness. But also about parenting, inclusion, poverty and aging. Working on these issues requires groundbreaking and creative thinking and acting. That’s what we do here at the School of  Social Studies. 

Why study in the Netherlands?

Because the Netherlands has excellent, affordable higher education. It also has a thriving economy (18th in the world) so there are plenty of job opportunities. The lovely university town of Nijmegen has a great atmosphere. Just wander through its beautiful old streets and you feel its rich history. Looking for a charming pub or restaurant, a bit of culture or a great night out? Nijmegen has all this and more. Keen on sport or nature? Nijmegen has loads of sports clubs and is surrounded by beautiful forests full of hiking and bicycle trails.
